Dasha and transit (Gochar) are not the same
Dasha identifies the planetary periods traditionally considered active for the native. Gochar represents the current movement of planets through the zodiac.
A disciplined interpretation looks for agreement among the natal promise, the relevant Varga, the Dasha, the Antardasha and the transit — rather than making a prediction merely because Saturn or Jupiter is currently transiting a particular sign.
