Prashna: Horary Astrology and the Power of the Right Question
When a question is asked with genuine urgency, Prashna casts a chart for that very moment and reads the answer directly. Here is how it works.
Prashna, or horary astrology, is a distinct branch of Jyotish. Instead of reading the birth chart, the astrologer casts a chart for the moment a sincere question is asked and reads the answer from that chart.
When to use Prashna
Prashna is ideal when a birth chart is unavailable or when a specific, time-sensitive question needs a clear answer — a lost object, a pending decision, a delayed outcome, a business proposal.
How a Prashna session works
You hold the question clearly in mind and ask it. The astrologer notes the exact moment, casts the chart, and reads the answer using classical Prashna rules.
What Prashna is not
Prashna is not a substitute for a full birth-chart consultation when deep, long-term guidance is needed. It answers this question, at this moment, cleanly.
Follow-up
A short follow-up window is included with each Prashna session so any clarification can be handled quickly.
